Thames Water lists Camden within its clean-water charging area and says all water in its region is hard. Hard water can leave limescale, so taps, shower screens, tiles and other water-contact surfaces may need descaling where this is included in the agreed scope.

UCL accommodation contracts can end in June, July or September depending on the contract type. Student cleaning should therefore be booked to the actual accommodation or tenancy end date, with enough time allowed for keys, checkout arrangements and any shared areas included in the clean.
